Madison Curtis

Music educator returning to Newfoundland. Bringing the studio back.

Portrait

The studio relaunch

I am a music educator and singer. For three years I ran Ms. Madison's Music Studio in Mobile, Newfoundland, teaching voice, piano, ukulele, and guitar to students ages 4 to 15. I am currently teaching music in Bangkok, and I am moving back to Newfoundland.

When I return, the studio comes with me. I am taking a waitlist now for families and adults who want lessons or want to join the group classes I am planning. If you would like to be first to know when the studio reopens, the waitlist is below.

What I teach

Lessons and classes

Voice

Healthy, age-appropriate voice work for children and adults. Vocal Pedagogy Professional Workshop at Boston Conservatory at Berklee (2021).

Piano

Ukulele and guitar

Approachable string instruments for first-time musicians and absolute beginners of any age.

Group classes (NL return)

Small-group voice and music-fundamentals classes, planned for the Newfoundland relaunch. Open to families and adult beginners.

Frequently asked

Questions

When does the studio reopen in Newfoundland?
The date depends on the relocation timeline. Join the waitlist and you will be the first to know when bookings open and where the studio will run from.
Who can take lessons?
Students from age 4 through to adult beginners are welcome. I have taught all age groups in private lessons and across the public school system.
Which instruments?
Voice, piano, ukulele, and guitar. I also plan to run small-group voice and music-fundamentals classes once I am back in Newfoundland.
Do I need a piano or instrument to start?
For voice, no. For piano, an acoustic upright or a full-size weighted-key keyboard is enough to start. For ukulele or guitar, a beginner instrument is more than fine; I can advise on options once you are on the waitlist.
How do I get in touch?
Email hello@madicurtis.com or fill in the waitlist form below. Both reach me directly.
